On top of your hourly temp rate, you also accrue paid holidays. For each hour you work, an additional 10.17% is accrued into holiday leave. The easy way to calculate it for every 100 hours you work – about 3 weeks you accrue 10.17 hours – over a day. When you take leave, depending on how much you have accrued you have the option of taking paid or unpaid leave or a combination of the two.
