PA / Team Secretary to Head of Investor Relations and team (8 staff)

£25000 plus profit share bonus, pension (5% company contribution), life assurance, overtime pay

A world reknowned PR consultancy are looking for a PA and Team Secretary to support the Head of Investor Relations and the Investor Relations team (8 staff)

The successful PA/Team secretary will have/be:

* Experience supporting senior level management and a team
* Experience in working in a corporate firm within the City (Financial services, Legal, Insurance, Banking)
* Educated to degree level
* Minimum typing 50wpm
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
* Strong communication (both written and verbal - excellent telephone manner)
* Strong inter-personal skills (no shrinking violet!)

The role:

* Provide PA and secretarial support to the Head of Investor Relations and team
* Diary management - arranging meetings externally and internally
* Arranging complex travel including visas
* Assisting with client events - hosting, distributing invitations, booking accommodation, greeting guests, monitoring replies & feedback
* Creating and formatting documents, including PowerPoint presentations
* Distributing press releases and client announcements
* Researching information via Bloomberg, Reuters, Factiva etc
* Researching potential new clients for new business pitches
* General office duties - mail merges, filing, monitoring teams holiday and sickness


The position requires someone who is extremely organised with a great ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. The person needs to be team orientated with a clear and professional telephone manner, good literacy and PC skills and great inter-personal skills with all levels of management.
